Archie von Stalworth
Archie von Stalworth is a med / large male with imposing black sable colour. Structurally correct and has excellent expression. Has basic obedience (sit, down, stand, recall, heel, focus, etc) and has been started with tracking and protection work. Archie tracks with a deep nose and is showing good enthusiasm for the task. In the protection phase Archie is working at a foundational level, showing us great strength and courage. His attention on the Quarry is unwavering and he offers nice full bites on the tug, wedge or soft sleeve. Archie is openly social, approaching strangers and new situations happily. In the obedience phase Archie is quick to respond to commands and offers good focus to the handler. He is well balanced in his drives. Archie has great enthusiasm for the ball or tug and will retrieve a thrown object endlessly. He is a confident young dog who adapts quickly to new situations. Archie is an athletic dog who is very keen for the training but at the same time he is not hyper-active or over the top. He is crate trained and is comfortable in the house, kennel or vehicle. Suitability: Archie is a good candidate for dual purpose PSD, single purpose detection or SAR. Archie will also make an excellent dog for sport or as a loyal family companion.
The three photos below were taken 8 July 2006: The 1st photo shows obedience (heeling), the 2nd shows tracking (on short grass), and the 3rd shows protection (bite on jute tug).
