Archie von Stalworth is a med / large male with imposing black sable colour. Structurally correct, large boned, excellent expression. Started with basic obedience (sit, down, stand, etc), tracking and protection. Archie tracks with a deep nose and is showing good enthusiasm for the task. In protection Archie is working at a foundational level, displaying great strength and courage in this phase. His attention on the Quarry is unwavering and he offers nice full bites on the tug. Archie is highly sociable. He is quick to respond and is very handler focused in his obedience. Well balanced in his drives, Archie will retrieve a thrown object and has great enthusiasm for the ball or tug. He is a confident young dog who is not easily phased. He adapts quickly to new situations. Archie is an athletic dog who is very keen for the training but at the same time he is not hyper or over the top. He is crate trained and is comfortable in the house, kennel or vehicle. Suitability: Archie is a good dual purpose PSD candidate or would be equally well suited to SAR, or single purpose detection. Archie will also make an excellent dog for sport, personal protection or as a loyal family companion.
