Welcome to Stalworth Kennels! A proudly Canadian kennel specializing in old style European working dogs. At Stalworth Kennels we breed, raise and train top quality working German Shepherds suitable for Law Enforcement, Search & Rescue, Sport and family companionship.

Company Profile
Stalworth Kennels strives to raise even tempered German Shepherd Dogs who are of sound character and overall ability, who are manageable in their work and are stable in all social situations. Versatile dogs who make top notch working K9s, superior sport competitors and wonderful family companions.
Our German Shepherds have naturally high-drives and superior problem solving skills. Our preference is for German Shepherd Dogs who are structurally correct with dark rich pigmentation and who possess such desirable assets as; strong nerves, substantial bone, good physical strength, longevity, stamina, athletic ability, pronounced courage, genetically full grips, excellent scenting abilities, and a distinct willingness to work for the handler.
German Shepherd Dogs raised by Stalworth Kennels are sold with a full written guarantee for health and temperament. In the case of working dogs sold for law enforcement purposes they are also guaranteed to pass the police service dog certification.
We are members of the Canadian Kennel Club, the German Shepherd Schutzhund Club of Canada, the Glengarry Dog Sport Club, and the Ottawa & Area German Shepherd Club. Melanie Woolley is also an approved CGN Evaluator for the Canadian Kennel Club's Canine Good Neighbour program.

A BIG congratulations to Cst. Thursby and K9 Sisco (Archer von Stalworth CD, TD, PSD) of the Edmonton Police Service for their 4th place finish overall at the 2007 CPCA Police Dog Trial Championships! They placed 3rd in tracking, 3rd in building searches, and took 4th place overall (out of 47 competitors)... an impressive accomplishment for a new team and a young dog with only 3 months on the street. Awesome work boys, we're extremely proud of you both!
